COVID-19: How is the work of the EMWA Executive Committee affected?

EMWA is the European Medical Writers Association, a network of professionals that represents, supports and trains medical communicators in Europe. It is a not for profit organisation that is run for its members by its members. Nine elected EMWA members form the Executive Committee (EC) and govern all EMWA activities. With the Coronavirus pandemic, the work of the EMWA EC changed, and we currently think of ourselves as the EMWA Executive Coronavirus Committee (ECC). This talk aims to provide insight into the ECC's recent endeavours and how the pandemic will influence EMWA's contribution towards excellence in medical writing and medical communications in the future.
