Mona Khalid is Vice President, Head of Evidence Generation and Epidemiology at Galapagos

She has previously spent time across the healthcare ecosystem, and was Vice President of Outcomes Research and Development at the International Consortium of Health Outcomes Measurement. Previous to that, Mona spent a decade leading teams to demonstrate the value of medical interventions. In her role at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, she was Global Head of Evidence and Value Generation, responsible for designing and selecting outcome measures for use in randomised controlled trials and registries. In addition, she led the global strategy for real-world evidence generation as innovative medicines were launched and made available for use in clinical practice.
